Refund and cancellation

SignalVertex Consulting (Pty) Ltd (CIPC 2018/586012/07) offers paid programming consulting — assessments, advisory sessions, and scoped implementation. This policy explains refunds and cancellations under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Proposed baseline — pending business confirmation.

Direct marketing cooling-off

If you concluded a transaction after contacting us following online advertising, you may cancel within five (5) business days of the written confirmation of scope and fee, provided we have not substantially begun the agreed work.

Service fees

Once work under a milestone or statement of work has started, fees for that milestone are non-refundable except where we fail to deliver the agreed deliverables. Partial refunds may apply if we mutually agree to narrow scope before completion.

Deposits

Deposits hold calendar capacity and are refundable within the cooling-off window above. After work begins, deposits apply to the first milestone and follow the milestone rules.

Rescheduling and no-shows

Advisory sessions may be rescheduled with at least one business day notice. Missed sessions without notice may be charged at the agreed hourly rate.

How to request a refund

Email info@signalvertex.digital or call +27-11-000-0114 with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We respond within ten business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method where possible.

Exceptions

Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (for example prepaid infrastructure used in a test environment) are reimbursed only when recoverable from the supplier.
